Spring Blooms in Seoul

Spring is finally here!  Seoul and all of South Korea is known for cherry blossoms so I decided to take a stroll through Yeouido Park and Yeouinaru by the Han River.  The concrete jungle made a wonderful backdrop for the florescent flowers as “golden hour” illuminated the spring bloom before the sun actually set with a gorgeous hue along the Han River.  Enjoy these photos and I hope spring is gracing your city with as much vibrance as we’ve got here.

  1. You guys are definitely ahead of NYC in terms of spring arriving. We are starting to show some signs but it’s been slow going. Miss ya!

    • KJ,
Thanks for stopping by again! The cherry blossom festival was fun and I can’t wait to put my next post up about seeing some blossoms in Gyeongju. I hope you are well and think of you and our class every Tuesday & Thursday. Any chance you will be at Daeuk’s beer pong tournament later in the month?
      Mike
P.S. I like the pictures on your blog but the Korean is tough for me to read
