Chile’s Calbuco Volcano Eruption

On April 23rd Chile’s Calbuco volcano had its first eruption in over 40 years!  You might have heard that they had to evacuate a few thousand people or that there was a second eruption.  Either way this natural disaster is a crazy show of the true power mother nature reserves for special occasions.

Luckily there yet to be any injuries reported although there are concerns about water contamination around the region from falling ash.  As a nature enthusiast I rejoice that this spectacular event took place and managed not to hurt anyone.  Check out these incredible photographs from around the internet of Chile’s April Calbuco eruption!
