Hang Son Doong Itinerary – Day 4

A dry day full of awesome photogenic cave sites?  Yes please!

Day 4 – July 28th
[This is what Son Doong is really about.  You will take more photographs this day than any other.  Most of the day you are in daylight and we ensure plenty of time for photography or just staring at the incredible jungles in the cave.]

8.00 Breakfast

9.00 Start to first doline.  The way is rocky, with some climbs  and care is required.  Steep slope up into the doline.  Rocky descent to the green gours and lunch.  Good views of doline, and sometimes sunbeams in the shaft.  Easy walking to the second doline.  Up into the doline with many large trees.  Some rocky areas.  Rocky descent to camp, slippery in places.  Large dry campsite with amazing views back into the second doline.  No washing facilities. Composting toilets.  This day is totally dry, so if you  like you can use a dry pair of boots/shoes.

Arrive at camp about 3pm.
